TX's Style ~ Round Steak Poblano Especial
- 1 each Tenderized roundsteak - all the fat trimmed off
- 1/2 large Sweet onion - chopped
- 6 large Mushrooms - chopped
- 1 each Poblano pepper - chopped
- 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 2 tbsp Marsala wine "Gran Chief"
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350
- Place thawed tenderized roundsteak in a 9 x 13 inch oven safe baking dish - salt and pepper to taste ( very important to remove ALL of the fat - otherwise the fat will make the dish soupy)
- Chop and mix vegetables then place on top of roundsteak
- Scoop out mushroom soup and place on top of vegetables
- Add 2 tablespoons of Marsala wine
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 min
- Serve over rice
