Snow Peas with Grand Marnier
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Three 10-ounce packages frozen snow peas
- One 8-ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint, or 1 1/2 tablespoons dried mint
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add the sugar.
- Drop in the snow peas and cook until barely tender, drain, and return to pan.
- Add the water chestnuts, Grand Marnier, butter, mint, and salt.
- Cook over medium-low heat until heated through.
