Sugar Cookies

  1. Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
  2. Add eggs, beating until smooth.
  3. Stir in milk.
  4. Sift dry ingredients.
  5. Blend dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
  6. Drop onto greased cookie sheets by spoon.
  7. Press lightly with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees (200 C.).
