Ila's Teriyaki Shish-Ka-Bobs
- 1 large flank steak
- 14 cup oil
- 34 cup soy sauce
- 14 cup mirin
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 inch gingerroot, grated
- Stir marinade ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved.
- Cut the flank steak into 1/2 inch lengthwise; slice diagonally against the grain into 1/4 inch slices.
- Skewer the meat with water soaked bamboo skewers.
- Place in marinade for 15-20 minutes.
- Broil or BBQ until done.
