Dried Bean Soup Recipe

  1. Soak beans as directed on package; drain.
  2. Add in the next 5 ingredients and cook the soup slowly till beans are soft, about 2 1/2-3 hrs.
  3. For the last 30 min add in the remaining ingredients.
  4. Remove and mince the meat then add in back to the soup.
  5. Serve with croutons, crackers or possibly hot French bread.
