Spicy Spiked Ice Tea

  1. Place tea bags in a small bowl.
  2. Add boiling water and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Fill a large pitcher with ice cubes.
  4. Pour sugar over ice.
  5. Add lemon and orange juices, cinnamon and cloves.
  6. Pour hot tea over ice and stir with a wooden spoon until most of the ice dissolves and tea has cooled.
  7. Chill until ready to serve.
  8. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice.
  9. Add a shot of light rum to each.
  10. Pour iced tea through a strainer to remove cloves and fruit pulp.
  11. Fill glasses with tea.
  12. Serve with extra sugar and lemon wedges.
