Daikon Radish and Fried Tofu Simmered in White Dashi

  1. Peel the daikon radish and cut it into strips.
  2. Pour hot water over the aburaage to remove excess oil, then cut it into strips the same size as the daikon radish.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a saucepan and add the daikon radish.
  4. Once the daikon becomes translucent, add the aburaage and the ingredients marked with and continue cooking.
  5. Once the daikon radish becomes completely tender, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with ground sesame seeds to finish.
