Spicy and Delicious Meat Miso
- 300 grams Minced beef and pork mix
- 1 medium package Bamboo shoots (boiled in water)
- 5 shiitake mushrooms, or 1/2 package shimeji mushrooms Shiitake or shimeji mushrooms
- 1/2 stalk Japanese leek
- 1 clove Garlic (in a tube)
- 1 Sesame oil
- 1 clove Ginger (tubed)
- 2 tsp Doubanjian
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Chicken stock granules
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 200 ml Water
- Prepare the ingredients...
- Prepare the seasonings...
- Finely chop the ingredients.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan (not listed), and add doubanjian and garlic.
- Add the minced meat once the garlic is aromatic, and saute.
- Once the meat has cooked through, add finely chopped bamboo shoots and saute some more.
- Next, add the flavoring ingredients, and boil over low heat...
- Flavor with salt and pepper while checking the flavor.
- Once the liquid has evaporated, add katakuriko dissolved in water and mix, add a round of sesame oil, and it's done.
- Top on freshly boiled udon noodles, and you have pseudo hot Ja-ja noodles!
- Add it to cold udon noodles and you have pseudo cold Ja-ja noodles!
- I tried it on rice too!
