Karin Calloway's Crock Pot Sweet and Sour Meatballs
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 14 cup water
- 1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 12 cup cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 cup chopped onion
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 lb frozen precooked meatballs (about 26 balls)
- Combine all ingredients in a 4-quart or larger crock pot.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
- Stir once or twice during cooking.
- To serve as an entree, spoon over hot cooked white rice or egg noodles.
- Sauteed sugar snap or snow peas make a good side dish.
