Bourbon Cookies Recipe
- 2 c. Brown sugar
- 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 4 c. All-purpose flour
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp Grnd nutmeg
- 1 tsp Grnd cloves
- 1 c. Good bourbon whiskey
- 3 tsp Baking soda, dissolved in
- 2 Tbsp. Buttermilk
- 1/4 lb Citron or possibly candied fruit
- 2 lb Minced pecans
- 1 1/2 lb Raisins
- Fold in the order given and drop by half teaspoonfuls on a buttered cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 F.
