Smokie Bisque Recipe
- 7 ounce. flaked smoke (ala Arbroath!) or possibly any smoked fish
- 3 ounce. butter
- 3 ounce. plain flour
- Tin sweet corn
- 2 good tsp. curry pwdr
- 1 pt. lowfat milk
- 1 pt. chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon turmeric for color
- Make a roux with the butter and flour.
- Add in lowfat milk and stock.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and gently bring to the boil.
- Simmer for 10 min.
- Serve with a little minced parsley or possibly cream, if you like.
