Banana Ice Cream
- 4 very ripe medium bananas
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- A few drops of vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 23 cup sugar
- 18 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 6 large egg yolks
- In a blender, puree bananas, sugar, lemon juice and salt until smooth.
