Frosted Brownie Cookies

• 1 (15 7/8 ounce) package double chocolate brownie mix
• 13 cup butter flavor shortening
• 1 large egg
• 1 (16 ounce) can cream cheese frosting
• candy sprinkles

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Coat cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup packet from brownie mix, melted shortening and egg in bowl until evenly moistened.
4. Scoop into 1/2 inch balls onto prepared cookie sheet.
5. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
6. Cool 2 minutes.
7. Remove from cookie sheet & place on cooling rack until cooled completely.
8. Frost and decorate as desired.
