Polony and Pasta Bake
- 300 grams macaroni
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 400 grams polony
- 1 cup mozarella or cheddar cheese
- 3 ripe tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water.
- Drain and spoon into greased ovenproof dish.
- Mix in grated cheese.
- Beat together the cream and eggs, season to taste, and pour over pasta.
- In a saucepan, combine the tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, onion and herbs.
- Cook until slightly thickened.
- Cube and sprinkle chicken peri peri polony over pasta with tomato mixture and mozarella cheese.
- Bake 180C until bubbling and golden for approximately 35 minutes or until set.
- Serve hot with a salad.
