Juicy Chicken Breast with Sauce
- 2 Chicken breast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 cm Ginger (grated)
- 1 Flour
- 1 clove worth Sliced garlic
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 Takanotsume (sliced into rounds with the seeds discarded)
- Preparation: Make the sauce by mixing all the ingredients.
- Remove the sinews from the chicken and cut vertically into half.
- Slice and put it in a plastic bag with the ingredients.
- Mix well and chill in the fridge.
- Add flour in a plastic bag and coat the chicken well.
- Heat vegetable oil (not listed) in a pan, cook the sliced garlic until golden brown, then transfer to the sauce.
- Cook the Step 2 chicken.
- When Step 3 browns, add the sauce and the garlic.
- Reduce the liquid slightly, and it's done.
