Beef Goulash

  1. preheat oven to 325*F.
  2. heat half of oil in ovenproof saute pan over med heat.
  3. add half of meat and sear well on all sides.
  4. season with salt and pepper.
  5. remove meat from pan and set aside.
  6. add remaining oil to pan and repeat searing technique for reamaining meat.
  7. place all meat aside.
  8. add onions to hot pan and cook 8 minutes over med heat, stirring occasionally.
  9. add paprika and garlic, mix well and cook 8 minutes over med heat.
  10. return meat to saute pan.
  11. sprinkle in flour and mix well.
  12. cook 4 minutes over low heat.
  13. add remaining ingredients and season, mix well.
  14. bring to a boil, cover and cook 3 hours in oven.
