Deepdish Puff Pastry Pizza Pie
- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
- 1 Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Tomatoe Sauce (your favorite kind)
- 4 Sweet Italian Sausage Links
- 1 Italian Cheese Blend
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Water
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cook sausage links.
- Let cool then slice.
- Grease a 9in pie plate.
- put 1 puff pastry sheet on top and stretch to cover.
- cover bottem in desired amount of ricotta cheese.
- Add desired amount of sauces.
- Cover with a layer sausage.
- Top with cheese.
- Cover with puff pastry.
- cut around the edge of the pie plate and crimp edges to seal.
- Beat egg and water to make egg wash and brush on top then cut slit on top to vent.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let sit 5 minutes to cool before cutting.
