Honey Chicken teriyaki
- 2 Chicken thigh meat
- 1 pinch of each Salt and pepper
- 1 Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 1/2 tbsp Honey
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 add as much (to taste) sides (lettuce, rice, cherry tomatoes, etc)
- Season both sides of the chicken thigh meat with salt and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients.
- Add 1 to 2, and set it aside for a while.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and cook the drained chicken from step 3 for 2minutes over medium heat.
- Turn the chicken over.
- It's done if the skin is nicely browned.
- Add the leftover marinade in the bowl from step 3 to the pan, and simmer to reduce for about 5 minutes.
- Turn the chicken over again, and cook the skin side for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Take the chicken out of the pan, cut into large bite sized pieces and plate.
- Add rice, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, etc.
- and you have a one-plate lunch.
