Honey Chicken teriyaki

  1. Season both sides of the chicken thigh meat with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients.
  3. Add 1 to 2, and set it aside for a while.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and cook the drained chicken from step 3 for 2minutes over medium heat.
  5. Turn the chicken over.
  6. It's done if the skin is nicely browned.
  7. Add the leftover marinade in the bowl from step 3 to the pan, and simmer to reduce for about 5 minutes.
  8. Turn the chicken over again, and cook the skin side for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Take the chicken out of the pan, cut into large bite sized pieces and plate.
  10. Add rice, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, etc.
  11. and you have a one-plate lunch.
