Glazed Onions
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 30 pearl onions, blanched in boiling water 2 minutes, drained, peeled
- 1/3 cup water
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- Melt butter in large oven-proof skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and saute until golden, about 12 minutes.
- Stir in 1/3 cup water.
- Transfer skillet to oven and cook until onions are tender and glazed, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to bowl and serve.
