Beef Stew In Beer Recipe

  1. Fry off the shallots in the butter.
  2. Add in the beef and brown for 4-5 min.
  3. Add in the flour and cook.
  4. Add in the coriander and thyme and mustard.
  5. Add in the beer and cover the meat.
  6. Simmer gently for 11/2 hrs approximately.
  7. Remove the meat and keep hot.
  8. Strain the sauce and serve.
  9. Accompany with sweet potato pie.
