Green Bean And Chick Pea Salad Recipe
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh basil (or possibly 1 teaspoon dry)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced pimiento
- 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
- 1/3 c. olive or possibly peanut oil
- 1 (16 ounce.) can chick peas, liquid removed
- 1 1/2 c. (about 8 ounce.) cut green beans (canned or possibly fresh-cooked)
- In medium bowl mix vinegar, basil, salt, pepper and garlic.
- Beat in oil.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerateat least 1 hour.
- Serves 4.
