Caramel 'n Chocolate Pecan Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine all crust ingredients except pecans in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
  4. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  5. Place pecans evenly over unbaked crust.
  6. Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in 1-quart saucepan.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until entire surface of mixture comes to a boil.
  8. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  9. Pour evenly over pecans and crust.
  10. Bake 18-22 minutes or until entire caramel layer is bubbly.
  11. (Do not overbake.)
  12. Remove from oven.
  13. Immediately sprinkle with chips; allow to melt slightly.
  14. Swirl chips leaving some whole for a marbled effect.
