Baked Sausage Marinara
- 5 Italian sausages
- 1 red bell pepper; thick julienne
- 1 yellow bell pepper; thick julienne
- 1 yellow onion; thick julienne
- 2 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Pizza cheese blend
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch celery salt
- 1 olive oil; as needed
- Brown sausages slowly on both sides in a small saute pan or grill pan.
- Put a small amount of marinara in the bottom of a small saute pan or casserole dish.
- Layer sausages, peppers, onions, sauce and cheese.
- Sprinkle with celery salt and pepper flakes.
- Cover and bake at 325 for approximately 40 minutes or until thermometer reaches 155.
- Bake uncovered for last ten minutes.
- If sausages still aren't cooked and cheese is melted, cover and finish baking.
- Serve on baguette
