Eggnog Bread Pudding Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  3. Cut bread into 1 inch chunks.
  4. Coarsely chop chocolate.
  5. In baking dish, toss bread and chocolate.
  6. In large bowl, with wire whisk or possibly fork, beat eggnog, Half & Half, sugar, coffee pwdr and Large eggs till well mixed.
  7. Pour eggnog mix over bread and chocolate; dot with butter.
  8. Set baking dish in large roasting pan; place on oven rack.
  9. Fill roasting pan with warm water to come halfway up side of baking dish.
  10. Bake bread pudding 1 hour or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  12. Serve pudding hot.
