Grapefruit Brulee
- 1 pink grapefruit
- 1 teaspoon apricot preserves, divided
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon, divided
- 2 stevia, packets
- Preheat the broiler to high with the rack 6 inched below the element.
- Slice the grapefruit in half.
- Loosen the segments with a knife or grapefruit spoon.
- Discard the seeds.
- Pat the top of each half with a paper towel to absorb some of the juice.
- Spread half of the preserves on each half of the grapefruit.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and stevia on top.
- Place the grapefruits on a jelly-roll pan and place under the broiler for 3 minutes.
- Watch it carefully so that it doesn't burn.
