Chinese Pepper Steak Recipe
- 1 pound round steak
- 1 onion
- 2 green peppers
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- Grnd black pepper
- 1 clove garlic or possibly equivalent
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- Paprika
- 5 tbsp. cornstarch
- Saute/fry cubes of meat, onion and pepper in small amount of canola oil.
- Sprinkle with black pepper, garlic and paprika.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 c. of warm water.
- When steak and vegetables have browned, add in dissolved bouillon.
- Simmer 10 min.
- Add in can of stewed tomatoes.
- Start 20 minute rice.
- Mix cornstarch, soy sauce and 1/4-1/3 c. of water together.
- Add in to main mix.
- Stir till sauce thickens.
- Serve over rice from the kitchen or possibly arrange on rice on a platter with fresh green beans in an outer ring.
