Apple Glace Pie

  1. Mix cream cheese, 2 Tbsp.
  2. sugar, the milk and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Spread onto bottom of pastry shell.
  4. Place 1/2 cup sugar, the water and candies in large saucepan; cook on low heat until candies are completely melted, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add apples; cook 8 to 10 min.
  6. or until tender.
  7. Drain apples, reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid; pour into small saucepan.
  8. Add lemon juice and cornstarch; stir until well blended.
  9. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  10. Boil 1 min.
  11. Arrange apples over cream cheese mixture; drizzle evenly with apple glaze.
  12. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
  13. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
