California Fig Coconut Balls

  1. Steam figs.
  2. With scissors, clip off stems, and grind or chop fine.
  3. Grind coconut and nut meats, then combine all ingredients and work to a paste.
  4. Add more lemon juice if necessary.
  5. Shape mixture into little balls about 3/4 inch in diameter, and roll in finely chopped coconut.
