Heart Healthy Pizza Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425F degrees.
  2. Generously spray a 12 inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray; sprinkle with corn meal, tilting and tapping pan to spread proportionately over surface.
  3. Brown chicken over medium low heat, stirring occasionally; drain any accumulated fat.
  4. Combine egg whites, oil, and non-fat dry lowfat milk pwdr till smooth; stir in flour, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and skim lowfat milk till batter is smooth.
  5. Pour batter into pizza pan, tilting pan so batter covers proportionately.
  6. Spoon chicken over batter; top with minced onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
  7. Bake on lowest rack in preheated oven till golden (20-25 min).
  8. Combine tomato sauce, basil, and garlic pwdr; pour over pizza crust.
  9. Sprinkle with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Continue baking till cheese is melted (5-10 min).
