Roasted Almond Caramel Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar and egg in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
  4. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Press mixture onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set.
  7. Remove from oven; sprinkle almonds and chocolate chips over hot, partially baked crust.
  8. Spoon or drizzle caramel topping over top.
  9. Continue baking 8-10 minutes or until edges are bubbly.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Cut into bars.
