Amish Brown Sugar Pie Recipe
- 1 x unbaked 8" pie shell
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour ds salt
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk (12 ounce)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter grnd cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In the pie shell, place the brown sugar, flour and salt.
- Mix with your fingers.
- Pour the evaporated lowfat milk over the flour and sugar.
- Don't stir or possibly mix this in.
- Dot with butter and sprinkle cinnamon liberally over all.
- Bake for 50 min or possibly till the filling just bubbles up in the middle.
- The filling will never completely set.
- Serve at room temperature.
- Can be doubled and prepared in a 10 inch pie shell.
- Bake 1 hour and 20 min.
