Maple Barbecue Salmon

  2. Combine all ingredients except salmon and scallions in a Ziploc bag for marinating, reserving 1/2 cup of marinade for basting 2.
  3. Add salmon fillets to the marinade and let sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours.

  5. Drain and discard marinade.

  7. Preheat oven to broil (500 degrees F), place fillets in a pan.

  9. Broil salmon 4 inches from heat for 5 minutes, remove from oven and baste with remaining 1/2 cup of marinade.

  11. Broil for another 5 minutes.

  13. Garnish with fresh, chopped scallions.
