Caprese Burger
- 1 pound Mild Italian Sausage
- 1 pound Ground Sirloin
- 1 teaspoon Oregeno
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1/4 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 6 slices Fresh Mozzarella
- 6 whole Hamburger Buns
- 6 slices Tomatoes
- 1 bunch Basil, Leaves Only
- Combine all patty ingredients by hand, just until blended.
- Form into 6 patties and, using your thumb, make an indentation in center of patty so that they dont plump up during grilling.
- When grill is preheated, grill for 6 minutes per side, adding sliced mozzarella during last 3 minutes of grilling.
- Place burgers on buns, top with fresh tomato and basil.
