Grandma Short's Tea Cakes Recipe
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. nuts, minced
- Cream shortening and sugar together, add in the Large eggs.
- Then add in coffee and baking soda with dry ingredients.
- Add in nuts last.
- Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
- Put powdered sugar icing on top.
