French Toast Casserole
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp Karo syrup (light corn syrup)
- 1 loaf bread of your choice (French, white bread etc)
- 5 eggs
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- Melt brown sugar, butter, and Karo syrup (do not boil)
- pour in the bottom of a casserole dish
- put bread tightly over the brown sugar mixture in the dish
- mix the rest of the ingredients well and pour over bread
- cover tightly and refrigerate overnight
- bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned
