Year-Round Strawberry Dessert
- 1 12 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 13 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (3 ounce) package red gelatin
- 34 cup strawberry juice or 1 cup cold water
- 16 ounces frozen strawberries
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar, and melted butter in bowl.
- Pat into a 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Mix together softened cream chese and 1 cup sugar.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate.
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Mix in strawberry juice or cold water.
- Add in strawberries.
- Allow mixture to thicken some in refrigerator before spreading over cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate dessert ovenight or until gelatin layer is set.
