Sausage Sauerkraut Balls Recipe

  1. In skillet, cook sausage and onions till meat is done, drain.
  2. Add in sauerkraut and 2 Tbsp.
  3. bread crumbs.
  4. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic salt and pepper.
  5. Stir into sauerkraut mix.
  6. Chill; shape into 3/4 inch balls.
  7. Coat with flour.
  8. Combine Large eggs and lowfat milk.
  9. Roll floured balls into egg mix, then in remaining bread crumbs.
  10. Heat deep fat fryer to 375 degrees.
  11. Have meat balls at room temperature.
  12. Fry 30 to 60 seconds.
  13. Serve with sweet & sour sauce or possibly mustard sauce.
