Asian Rhubarb Jam Recipe
- 1 lb Rhubarb finely minced
- 3 c. Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Five spice pwdr
- 1/4 c. Minced candied ginger Dash warm pepper sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- In a saucepan, combine rhubarb, sugar, five spice pwdr, ginger, warm pepper sauce and lemon juice; blend well.
- Place over low heat, stirring constantly till sugar dissolves.
- Bring to boil, skim off foam and cook over medium heat, stirring frequenly, till mix becomes transparent and thickens, about 15 to 20 min.
- Ladle into warm, sterilized jars; seal.
- Makes about four 6 oz jars.
