Asian Rhubarb Jam Recipe

  1. In a saucepan, combine rhubarb, sugar, five spice pwdr, ginger, warm pepper sauce and lemon juice; blend well.
  2. Place over low heat, stirring constantly till sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring to boil, skim off foam and cook over medium heat, stirring frequenly, till mix becomes transparent and thickens, about 15 to 20 min.
  4. Ladle into warm, sterilized jars; seal.
  5. Makes about four 6 oz jars.
