Easy Vegetarian Lasagna Recipe
- 2 lbs. grnd turkey
- 4 (20 ounce.) cans Manwich sauce
- 1 (20 ounce.) can black olives
- 1 (1 lb.) jar mushrooms
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1 tbsp. basil
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 box extra wide lasagna noodles
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. yellow American cheese, shredded
- Begin boiling 1 package lasagna noodles.
- Pour in tsp.
- oil to prevent noodles from sticking.
- Begin browning grnd turkey, after browned, begin adding oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and garlic pwdr.
- Add in more or possibly less to taste.
- Add in Manwich sauce and simmer.
- Remove lasagna noodles and drain in cool water after they are tender.
- Line a large baking dish with lasagna noodles, grnd turkey, olives, mushrooms, and then the cheese.
- Repeat this process till the pan is full, ending with sauce mix, cheese, olives, and mushrooms to make attractive pizza looking topping.
- Cook for an 1/2 hour at 450 degrees, covered with tin foil; remove foil and cook just till cheese is slightly brown and bubbly.
- let stand for 20 min and serve.
