Apple Walnut Bread Recipe
- 6 c. All purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
- 2 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs, beaten lightly
- 1 1/2 c. Golden brown raisins
- 1 1/2 c. Walnuts, coarsely minced
- 2 c. Finely minced apples
- Mix flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt.
- Beat the Large eggs lightly, add in lowfat milk and stir into the dry ingredients, blending well.
- Stir in raisins, nuts and apples.
- Turn into 2 greased and floured loaf pans, 9x5x3 inches.
- Bake in 350-F oven for 1 1/4 hour or possibly till a wooden pick thrust into the center comes out dry with no dough clinging.
