Western Style Chicken Barbeque Recipe
- 6 (approximately 2 1/2 lbs. each) cut up frying chickens
- 3/4 pound butter
- 6 c. onions, sliced
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 2/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 4 1/2 c. ketchup
- 4 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. green pepper, minced
- Yield: 25 servings.
- Preparation time: About 1/2 hour.
- Cooking time: 1 1/2 hrs.
- Equipment needed: Four baking pans, 13 x 9 1/2 x 2 inches, 1 large skillet.
