Cherry Booze

  1. Wash and stem cherries gently so as not to bruise them; dry on towel.
  2. Place cherries in 2qt jar and pour sugar over them.
  3. DO NOT STIR OR SHAKE!
  4. Pour liquor over cherries and sugar, cover w/lid.
  5. DO NOT STIR!
  6. Let stand undisturbed for 3 months.
  7. Strain into (2) 1qt bottles.
  8. Fruit will have dissolved and both color and flavor the liquid.
  9. NOTE: If using plums, red meated make nicer color and sweeter.
