Camembert with Caramelised Onions
- 125g KRAFT* Camembert, roughly chopped
- 125g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped thyme
- crusty bread, to serve
- Combine Camembert and Philly* in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Spoon into serving dish and allow to chill.
- Heat the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add the onions and saute until soft.
- Stir in the brown sugar and thyme and cook over low heat until the onions caramelize, about 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Serve Camembert paste on crusty bread topped with caramelised onions.
