Chicken Steaks Recipe
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 c. chopped cooked chicken
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1/8 teaspoon onion juice
- Pan fry the celery and green pepper slowly for 5 min in the butter.
- Add in the remaining ingredients, beating the egg light.
- Form into individual "steaks"; dust lightly with flour and pan fry in fat till golden brown on both sides.
