Hawaiian Banana Bread Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 3 sm. very ripe bananas or possibly 1 c. pulp
- 2 Large eggs
- Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
- Add in shortening and mix with your fingers or possibly pastry blender.
- Add in the well-mashed bananas and the well-beaten Large eggs.
- Mix in quickly like muffin batter.
- Pour in greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan or possibly round cake pan.
- Bake 40 to 45 min at 350 degrees or possibly till cake tester tests done.
