Creamed String Bean Soup Recipe
- 1 pound fresh string beans
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 tbsp. flour
- 2 quart. water
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 pt. lowfat sour cream
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- Cook beans in salted water.
- Mix flour with small amount of water smooth.
- Add in lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk; mix well.
- When beans are cooked, pour cream mix over beans, add in vinegar.
- Let soup come to a boil.
- Serve warm.
