Oxtail Stew In Asian Stye
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3/4 cup shao xing wine
- 4 slice dried tangerine or orang zest
- 1 star anise
- 6 slice ginger
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp scallion
- 800 grams oxtail
- 2 cup water
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rock sugar or brown sugar
- brown oxtail then removed oxtail and set aside
- with the same pan add shao xing wine scrapping browned bits to a boil
- add mix soy sauce and sugar with water onto pan
- add scallion and garlic with ginger together with oxtail then bring to a boil
- transfer all ingredient into preasure cooker on high for 50 minutes
- strain sauce and then pour strained clear sauce on oxtail
- put in oven at 200c cover and bake for 20 minute then uncover bake for another 20 minute
