Nutty Wheat Crackers

  1. In a blender, grind the sunflower seeds until smooth.
  2. Place the sunflower puree and the butter in a medium bowl and cream together until smooth.
  3. Add the flour, bran, honey and water and stir until well blended.
  4. Form the dough into a ball, place it on a large sheet of waxed paper and shape it into a log.
  5. Wrap waxed paper tightly around the dough and chill for 4-6 hours or overnight.
  6. With a serrated knife, slice the dough into 1/4" rounds.
  7. Place the rounds on solid fruit roll sheets positioned on dehydrator trays.
  8. Dry at 145F for 4-6 hours or until firm and crisp.
  9. Store in an air-tight container.
