Cheesey Potatoes
- 1 pkg. shredded potatoes, thawed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken
- 2 tbsp. butter
- margarine
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 to 6 cups shredded cheese (any flavor will do)
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix both cans of cream soup, butter or margarine, sour cream, salt and pepper.
- Make sure all ingredients are mixed well.
- Pour cheese into bowl and mix well.
- Pour thawed potatoes into bowl and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 inch cake pan.
- (no need to grease pan) Bake at 450 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
- Put 1 cup of cheese on top the put back in for 5-10 minutes.
- Let cool for about 5-10 minutes.
- Very excellent as a side dish.
