Smashing Pumpkin Martini

  1. Heat a large heavy skillet over moderate heat until hot.
  2. Toast pumpkin seeds, stirring constantly, until they expand and begin to pop, 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer seeds to a plate to cool.
  4. In a shaker filled with ice, stir spiced pumpkin vodka and Amaretto.
  5. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  6. Garnish with toasted pumpkin seeds.
